Peter agreed to take on the music for the showpiece attraction at Londons Millennium Dome that ran during the year 2000, here was a man with the vision to voice the hopes and fears of the world in a musical nutshell, the spectacularly staged show was a huge delight and the best thing in the Dome.

This album was recorded around 1986 but due to contractual problems took 14 years to be released! Steve has resisted the temptation to rearrange the album and has put it out in much the same form as originally intended, features Brian May

21st September 2000 - Tony Smith wins a Peter Grant award for his work as Genesis manager. Peter Gabriel attended - Tony, Phil and Mike were filmed in rehearsal for the event, Daryl Stuermer also attended and played a short set including I Can't Dance.

After legal troubles following and his divorce from Kim Poor Steves album has been released, it will be available on his tour and also on his website www.hackettsongs.com. This marks a new beginning in his life and music career.
